It's been sometime since I've posted to the internet and I think it's over due. I was very regular about posting while I was living in Japan but it has nearly been a year since I posted last so HERE I AM.
News with me:
Feb. 07 I returned from living abroad. It was time, I needed a new direction. That said, I really miss the lifestyle and am working hard to find the same sort again.
Feb~ March - I decompressed, lived in the snowy north and got to know all the people I hadn't seen in so long. My itchy feet made it hard to stay in one spot too long though and I moved myself down to where the action was. Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin.
My sojourn to Sheboygan County was eventful. I was there until September and got many of my goals accomplished. Among them:
I helped build a house with a friend. Very cool experience and I recommend it (as long as you're not paying the bills).
I did a lot of volunteer work, studied for the GMAT, took the GMAT (the GMAT is the test to enter business school), I organized almost all of the books and magazines in the Sheboygan Falls public library and finally I got a job and into Graduate School (for business).
Now I'm in Madison and working for one of the world's Heparin manufacturers. Heparin is a blood thinning compound derived from pigs. I work in Validation. The work is great, the people are nice, and the place is easy to live. No complaints, so I'm said when I have to leave it all behind for school next week.
So end the first post and a very abridged version of my life in the last year. Tune in for more (mostly pictures) thoughts as I struggle with school, debts, and the future.
